These bright and refreshing homemade ice pops are made using fresh fruit, plant-based milk, and a sprinkle of sugar.

Popsicles that are bright pink and covered in crushed ice

Why I love these homemade popsicles:

  • These ice pops are made using fresh fruit and a great way to work toward your daily goals
  • They are naturally vegan/plant-based and gluten-free
  • You can make them year-round but they are a refreshing summer treat

Ingredient Notes

Labeled ingredients including: pineapple, sugar, plant-based milk, watermelon

Watermelon: Since watermelon is seasonal, these ice pops are perfect for a sweet summer treat. Using a ripe watermelon will give you the best possible flavor.

Check out this article about how to find the best watermelon.

Pineapple: You can use either fresh or frozen pineapple in this recipe. If you're using fresh, be sure it's nice and ripe.

Plant-Based Milk: I used almond milk in this recipe but you can use any type of plant-based milk you like best or have on hand.

Sugar: I usually use organic cane sugar, but you can use any type of sugar you have at home.

See recipe card below for quantities.

Step by Step Process

Three pink popsicles on a bed of crushed ice

I love that this recipe is super easy to make!

Start by assembling your ingredients and combine everything in a blender.

Blend until nice and smooth and then transfer to a popsicle mold. Add the popsicle sticks and place in the freezer until they are frozen solid. This usually takes about 3-4 hours.

Storage

If you plan on storing these popsicles for later there are two great and easy storage options.

The easiest option is to keep them right in the popsicle mold where you initially made/froze them. Make sure the top is covered and you can keep them right there for up to 3 months.

If you need to use your popsicle mold, remove the popsicles and wrap them individually in plastic wrap. They can also be stored like this for up to 3 months.
