This mango and pineapple salsa is an easy vegan snack or appetizer that will have everyone coming back for seconds!

If you're a chip lover like I am and want to make sure you're snacking on a vegan option, be sure to check out this article about vegan chips! And if you're looking for something extra to dip them in, try my Easy Guacamole Recipe too.

This is a great canning salsa recipe and is so easy to make, with so many delicious variations.

Ingredients

Labeled ingredients including: onion, cilantro, lime, habanero pepper, tomato, mango, and salt.

Mango: The fresh mango in this recipe adds such sweet, bright flavor to the recipe! Be sure that you're using a really ripe mango to ensure it's as sweet as possible.

Pineapple: Just like the mango, the pineapple gives this pineapple mango salsa a sweet burst of flavor with a bit of a tart twist.

Habanero: This flavorful pepper is what gives this spicy mango salsa it's kick! If you like things nice and spicy, leave the seeds in. If you prefer less spice, leave the seeds out.

Tomato: You can use any type of sweet, ripe tomato in this salsa. Whatever you have on hand will work great.

Cilantro: Pro tip: the stems of the cilantro contain a lot of flavor. You don't have to remove all of the leaves when prepping this flavorful herb, just chop it all up together!

Lime: Using freshly squeezed lime juice will give you the freshest possible flavor.

See recipe card below for quantities.

Instructions

A clear glass bowl filled with unmixed mango salsa.

This recipe is super easy because you don't need to cook or heat any of the ingredients! After assembling your ingredients, this easy vegan snack only takes about 10 minutes to make.

I always start by washing all of my produce. Even if you are using home-grown or locally sourced produce, it's always important to give everything a nice gentle scrub.

Then you'll slice and dice those ingredients according to the ingredient list (see below).

Assemble all of the prepped ingredients in a large bowl, gently mix it all together, and that's it!

Use your favorite chip to scoop out a yummy bite and enjoy.
