Ingredients

  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 banana frozen
  • ½ cup orange frozen
  • ½ cup grapefruit frozen
  • ½ cup pineapple frozen

Instructions

  • Start by blending the almond milk and spinach until everything is nice and smooth.
  • Combine all remaining ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Add an optional garnish of fresh citrus fruit, mint, or coconut flakes.

Notes

I like to blend the greens with the liquid base (almond milk in this recipe) before adding any other ingredients. This eliminates having chunks of greens in your smoothie, and makes the consistency much better.
I also like to freeze as many of my fruits ahead of time as possible. This replaces ice in your recipe and makes everything more frozen and delicious.
