Veganuary is an exciting campaign that encourages people to follow a vegan lifestyle for the month of January. The overall goal is that during the 31 days of January, people see how wonderful and easy it is to live a vegan lifestyle and will want to maintain that lifestyle moving forward.
Typically at the start of January, people make a thoughtful list of resolutions or goals for the upcoming year. This is the perfect opportunity to try something new and to make an impactful lifestyle shift.
What does it mean to live a vegan lifestyle?
A vegan lifestyle excludes the use of animals in food, clothing, and entertainment. Veganism is an ideology that is against animal cruelty and exploitation.

A great benefit of participating in Veganuary is the wide range of community support that is available during this time. When people are looking to transition to a vegan lifestyle, there are bunch of people and organizations ready to welcome and support you through your journey. During Veganuary there is extra online support, more restaurants offering plant-based foods, and more people giving this lifestyle a chance. All of this can make the transition a bit easier.
