This kale avocado smoothie is the pick-me-up your morning needs! Kale and avocados are some of my favorite nutrient-dense foods and I’ve been loving this combination in my smoothies. Adding fresh avocado into my smoothies has increased the creaminess factor significantly! This recipe is perfect for breakfast on the go and for a quick mid-morning snack.
Avocados are commonly known for being a “super food” and are full of healthy fats and tons of vitamins. We all know how quickly an avocado can go from perfectly ripe to overly ripe. Kale Avocado Smoothie Ingredients
- A handful of kale or leafy green of your choice
- 1 cup frozen banana
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/4 cup fresh avocado
- 1/4 cup cucumber
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
