What better way to celebrate national pizza day than with a plant-based pizza recipe!
- Naan- we will use this as our pizza base.
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup cheese (I used Daiya dairy-free cheese)
- 1/4 cup chopped broccoli
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers
- 1/4 cup tomatoes
- 1/4 cup mushrooms
Preheat your oven to 400°.
Wash all produce and prepare as directed above.
Spread sauce on the naan, leaving about a 1/2 inch border for the crust. Sprinkle cheese on top of sauce, followed by the veggies.
Cook in the oven for about 10 minutes. Let cool slightly before enjoying!
