This salsa is deliciously sweet from the mangos and has a spicy kick from the jalapeño! It pairs well with any tortilla chip and is delicious topped on fish or chicken (preferably blackened). While this tastes amazing as soon as it’s made, I recommend making this at least an hour ahead of time and refrigerating to let the flavors really come together!
- 2 large ripe mangos
- 1 jalapeño pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 orange bell pepper
- 2 Tbsp lime juice
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 medium red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 tsp salt
Wash and dry all produce.
Chop your mangos, bell peppers, onion, and cilantro and place in a large dish.
Remove seeds from jalapeño, chop into small pieces, and add to bowl.
Chop and add your cilantro and your lemon and lime juice. Sprinkle salt on top (you can use slightly less if you prefer).
Mix well all ingredients together.
Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. (This step is optional, but I think it makes a big difference!)
