I love overnight oats because you can make them the night before, pop them in the fridge overnight, and wake up to a delicious breakfast that’s ready to eat.
These refreshing oats are also great for a “grab and go” breakfast!
- 1 cup rolled oats (uncooked)
- 1 cup milk
For the milk portion you can use any type of milk… cow’s milk, almond milk, soy milk, etc. I usually use unsweetened vanilla almond milk for a little extra flavor.
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Fruit for a topping
Measure out one cup of oats and place them into your container.
Measure out one cup of the milk of your choice and pour into the container with your oats.
If you want to add either honey or maple syrup for a little extra sweetness, add it at this time. If you’re going to add brown sugar, add it at this time as well.
Mix well and place top on container. Place in refrigerator over night.
In the morning, remove from the fridge and stir well. Add any remaining option ingredients such as fruit and/or cinnamon.
