Crepes are one of my favorite snacks/breakfasts/dinners/desserts! They are so much fun because you can make a crepe into anything you want. You can add your favorite fruits, whipped cream, Nutella, peanut butter, powdered sugar, the list goes on and on!
Today we will go over the super easy recipe and directions, and you can choose to use whatever topping your heart desires!
Instead of posting pictures of a step-by-step process, I’m just going to add some more pictures of these crepes because they look so good.
Are you hungry yet?! (I’m not because I just ate all of those crepes – don’t worry I had some help)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/3 cup almond milk
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup apple sauce
- 2 Tbsp canola oil
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Some crepe recipes call for all ingredients to be mixed using a blender, this can be helpful if you’re having a hard time getting all the lumps out.
Once your batter is completely smooth, but either butter or a butter spray to grease your nonstick stovetop pan. Turn up to medium to medium/high heat.
Add just enough batter to cover the bottom of your pan and slowly turn the pan to evenly coat the bottom of the pan.
Cook for approximately 45 seconds then flip to the other side, cook the second side for approximately 20 seconds. If it is taking much longer than this to cook consider adding less batter to the pan, or slightly increase your cooking time.
Once both sides have been cooked, remove from pan and transfer to plate.
Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!!!
